MyCareerIQ is operated by ReviveIQI ("we", "us", or "our"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use MyCareerIQ at mycareeriq.reviveiqi.com.

Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly:

• Account information — name, email address, and password when you register
• Resume content — the resume you upload to generate your job search pipeline
• Job search settings — target roles, locations, and preferences you configure
• Pipeline data — companies, contacts, cover letters, and application history you create
• Payment information — processed by Stripe; we never store card numbers

We also collect usage data automatically — pages visited, features used, and general analytics to improve the product.

How We Use Your Information

• To operate MyCareerIQ and generate your job search pipeline
• To generate cover letters and outreach messages using GPT-4o
• To enrich company and contact data using Apollo and Hunter.io
• To process payments and manage your subscription via Stripe
• To send transactional emails related to your account
• To improve product quality and fix issues

Your Resume and Job Search Data

Your resume is stored in Cloudflare R2 with access restricted to your account. Your pipeline data — companies, contacts, cover letters, application history — is stored in our database and is only accessible to you.

We do not sell your resume, job search data, or personal information to third parties. We do not share your data with employers or recruiters. We do not use your resume or job search data to train AI models.

Third-Party Services

MyCareerIQ integrates with the following third-party services to operate:

• OpenAI — GPT-4o powers cover letter generation and job research
• Apollo — contact enrichment for outreach
• Hunter.io — email verification for outreach
• Firecrawl — career page scraping for job research
• Stripe — payment processing
• Cloudflare R2 — resume file storage
• Google / Microsoft — OAuth authentication (if you connect Gmail or Outlook)

Each of these services operates under their own privacy policies. We use them solely to provide MyCareerIQ functionality.

Gmail and Outlook Integration

If you connect Gmail or Outlook to MyCareerIQ, we access your email threads solely to surface job search opportunities (contacts, companies, warm leads). We store encrypted access tokens. We do not read, store, or transmit email content beyond what is needed to classify opportunities. You can disconnect at any time from Settings.

Data Retention

Your account data is retained as long as your account is active. You can request deletion of your account and data at any time by emailing bryan@reviveiqi.com. We will delete your data within 30 days of your request.

Security

Passwords are hashed and never stored in plaintext. Access tokens are encrypted at rest. All data is transmitted over HTTPS. We use industry-standard security practices to protect your information.

Children's Privacy

MyCareerIQ is not intended for users under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or by posting a notice in the app. Continued use of MyCareerIQ after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
